Where do you work from?
I work from my home, in Tel Aviv. I live here with my husband, who is a musician and also works from home, so our house is full of music instruments and art supply…

                                              Looking Forward

What inspires you?
I am inspired by my life experiences, nature and dreams. I am also inspired by my childhood memories and in particular by the inner, imaginative world of a child. I used to spend a lot of time in imaginative worlds when I was a child. The ability to create an alternative world through imagination and to use it as a source of joy and comfort is an inspiration for much of my work.

Who are your favorite artists/ illustrators/ etsy sellers?
There are so many talented people on etsy and every day I discover new ones, so its hard to name just a few… but among my current favorites are: Olofs Dotter ,  Ground Work,  Katrine K,  Gemma Bear and Betsy Walton.

                                Nurturing

What, in your opinion, is the best thing about being a creative person? and the worst?!
Creating is fulfilling, gives purpose and, well, generally makes me happy!
I think that creativity enables people to grow and get better in all aspects of their lives.
The only negative side to it that I can think of is that creating may sometimes become a bit of an obsession …

If one famous person were to discover your work who would you like it to be?
Warren Buffett :-) …but seriously, I cannot think of anyone famous in particular but many non-famous people will do…

                                               It's Going To Be Alright

Where would you like to be in ten years time?
I would like to be healthy, happy and doing what I’m doing now but hopefully doing it bigger and better.

If You Go Down to the Woods Today...

The weekend's perpetual rain thoughtfully paused long enough to allow us to have a wander in the woods this morning. The pine trees smelt amazing, almost as tantalizing as our bakery breakfast. Below are some favourite woodland inspired picks, my favourite is the stunning print by Shirae.

I love this ladie's woodland inspired creations! Bases in Tahiti, Pulsatilla draws some of our favourite furries and superimposes them on ornate baroque patterns.
