Turn away now if you are of a broody disposition! I couldn't help but share this adorable French website, Smallable, which specializes in kiddie clothing and toys. I wouldn't mind some of them in my size, maybe the little birdie bag will fit ;)

All Abord For A French Summer of Love!
Oh no! Here goes my afternoon, I've fallen into the American Vintage site never to return. Give you computer weary eyes a little perk and cast them upon this achingly beautiful video. A little warning if you are in work... the accompanying song is beautiful, but maybe turn it down before your manager wonders why your Word document or Excel file is singing to you ;) And yes, before you are compelled to ask me... all French girls are this devastatingly beautiful!

I was going to post pictures from this Les Petite's Spring 09 collection but then discovered the "Some Girls" video instead. Be warned if you've always yearned to be a beautiful waify French madmoiselle but don't quite have the winning genetic combination then look away now!

Wonder Wardrobe Wednesday Goes Floral for Valentines Week!
Sequins and studs was the name of the game today, you could hear me coming a mile away! Feeling the Valentines love this week so slipped on a moody floral number in anticipation of the big weekend! Speaking of Valentines, I guest blogged over on I Love Cutie Pie blog today but be warned, if girly romantic images don't make your heart pitter patter then look away now!

Tuesday's Child is Full of Grace
Poised and elegant, prim and proper, these belles of the ball do make me feel rather plain this morning! It's time to doll up (or put my face on as The Boyfriend says) and unleash the girly girl. I'll swathe myself in meters of whispering lace and swan about in bustling tulle skirts. On slip the ballerina pumps for the walk through blossom avenue to the daily market. I'll pass boutique after achingly beautiful boutique, and wander in and out as my heart desires. No fabulous girl is complete without a set (matching no less) of french lingerie, that's what I will tell myself as my credit card goes past the warm-up stage to full blown sprint catch me if you can stage. Oh well it's almost Valentines weekend so it can be The Boyfriends gift :) Speaking of Valentines, have you got anything nice planned? Pop by tomorrow to see what Wednesday's child gets up to....

Wonder Wardrobe Wednesday!
Wonder Wardrobe Wednesday is back! Thank you kindly for all your comments asking for the return of the show and tell wardrobe feature, I am not feeling so shy now :) I have re-thought the feature and have decided to mix it up un peut. Somedays I will be plucking the Amelies and Sophies straight off the streets of France and immortalising them on Dandelion Daydreamer, otherdays ( i.e skinny, non bad hair days) I will be popping up with a run down of my outfit or even better for both us...I will show and tell my vintage find of the week. I do hope you enjoy it! x

Snow Angel
Scrumptious food and heart-breaking fashion, the French certainly know how to keep me here. I'm loving these wispy wonderland pics by Mes Demoisselles. Those boots are destined to be mine, I'll wear plastic bags over them if I have to! I came across them on my favourite French boutique's site, Blush Noisette. I have just booked my snowboarding Christmas with The Boyfriend, these can be my lounging by the apres-ski fire looks ;)

Minty Fresh...
This weekend entailed not one, but two, antique markets (a chest of antique drawers, a vintage scarf to frame, and an ostrich leather skinny belt all for moi). We also went on a little road trip to Bayonne last night to see a real live french nightingale sing. Her voice was breathtaking and I will be posting a link to her site shortly. I'm not sure if it is just a designer thing but I always notice the frequency of colours, especially if I am currently working with them. This weekend minty green was everywhere... see for yourself! x
Antique tea cups at Saturday's antique market.
I think I fell in love with Mr.Polar Bear, unfortunately my bank balance wasn't as enthralled!
Ten green bottles hanging on the wall...
The Boyfriend only likes plain white plates, either I paint them or gouge his pretty little eyes out! Anyway who even notices the plates when they are paled in the shadow of that dreamy dresser!
We find out tomorrow if we get our dreamy loft apartment in the woods... either way I hope our new landlord is a fan of wallpaper!
Now all I need is the baby to go in it ;) Blush Noisette in Bayonne is possibly my favourite shop. It is like a French Avoca, but with elegant french clothes to die for.
Oh la la! I couldn't think of a cuter dress to fetch the morning croissants in! If you are nice Chloe Hope may even sell it to you.
I couln't afford the antique bird cages at the market so this beautiful print will have to quiet my longing heart. Kerry Lemon simply has too many gorgeous prints to choose from.
Shopping didn't stop at the markets, I have bookmarked this leather lovely by Jenny Bags for when the card recovers ;)
Couldn't have said it better myself! Dazey Chic's Etsy shop is one I can not afford to spend time in at the moment!
Just like my day out on the bikes today :) Many more nostalgic moments frozen in time by Alice B. Gardens to be seen here.
