Tim Burton and Tim Walker Give New Meaning to Sinister Beauty

The witching hour is almost upon us! What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I'm going to pinch some inspiration from this spectacular Tim Walker shoot for Bazaar. It's sinister styling comes from none other than the  creative genuius that is Tim Burton. This shoot comes in anticipation of his retrospective in New York's Museum of Modern Art. If you are lucky enough to get to the show, expect to see his sketches from aspiring director to made director, puppets and maquettes, costumes and props, digital films, photography and sketchbooks... The retrospective shows from the 22nd November to the 26th Of April 2010. If I had the opportunity to work with one famous photographer it would hands down be Tim Walker. The man is the fashion king of romance! I want to frame every single one of his fashion shoots, especially these pictures from Vogue he did a few years back.  Erin O Connor looks perfectly aloof and elegant as the blue swan and this shot of Lily Cole perched on the spiral staircase below is what started my love affair with Tim's work.
