Whispers of Summer...

Oh Monday, how can you do this to us! Oh well, I had a divine weekend and that's what matters, right? I spent the weekend at the beach in the Spring sunshine, at a vintage market (pictures of treasures to come!) and in the old town of Bayonne, sipping chocolait chauds and nibbling macaroons to my hearts delight. The lovely lovely Boyfriend surprised me and came back from the mountains early... sweet...but a girl needs time to get her face on ;) These pretty in pastel pictures are shot by Camilla Akrans for Vogue's March edition.

The Concrete Jungle Has Never Been Sexier...

Pallid grey slabs of concrete contrasted with the vivid brights of a jungle palette equals this scorching shoot by Camilla Akrans. I think I have discovered yet another favourite fashion photographer. Camilla seems to recognise the fine line between fashion editorial and male magazine shoot, yet somehow pushes those boundaries with every click. I especially love the Alexander McQueen feather plume dress image, how about you, do you have a favourite?

Beachy days here in Hossegor, not quite bikini weather (fortunately!) but those long days and dusky evenings on the beach are just around the corner. These images by Camilla Akrans have swept me away in a beachy daydream.

The summer is coming, I can feel it. I spent the morning in the sunshine, as we strolled around a twinkling lake with my adorable foster dog (he goes home today, words can not express my grief!)
