On my last trip to New York I managed to finally visit the Brooklyn flea market. It was a huge surprise to spot a favourite Etsy artist of mine exhibiting at it. She Hit Pause Studio's photographs are large
format polaroid transfers. Polaroids are taken, the film is pulled apart and
then the negatives are rubbed onto water color paper. All of the girls in his
work are friends and shot as he learns to surf while travelling in
Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru and the Dominican Republic... Not a bad way to spend your days! My favourite is numero uno, how about you?

SUMMER BREEZE
Dublin has been having the most beautiful weather the last few weeks, I'm almost afraid to mention it in case I jinx it! It's difficult not to be optimistic when the sun is beaming in through your lace curtains, casting floral shadows across your cozy cocoon of a bed. There's an energising feeling of change when Spring transends into Summer, and somehow even the most difficult of tasks seem achievable and the most painful of memories fade to something less poignant.
All these images are from some of my favourite Etsy shops. 1: Honey Tree, 3&4 : Silver Saga, 5&6: Tamgultich, 7 : Skippy Designs.

DREAMY PHOTOGRAPHY BY LANEY BUTLER
Laney Butler's photography is utterly calming and refreshing, I love how she celebrates the humble "weeds" as majestic flowers, standing tall and strong in the summer sun. The Boyfriend can't understand why I plant "weeds", some girls love roses, some lilies, for me its daisies, poppies and dandelions :)

Beachy Weekend...
The forcast is sunny skies all weekend :) I hope you all have something lovely planned, I'm using mine to work on some new paintings, to visit a favourite vintage market and if this sunshine keeps up to do a spot of sunbathing on the beach with The Boyfriend. Not to mention bike rides through the piney forest, lengthly lie-ins and boulangerie breakfasts... J'adore le weekend! Bon weekend tout le monde! x

Monday's Child is Fair of Face...
Porcelin skin, peaches and cream complexions, these pictures make me want to stay off the beach and stock up on skin-lightening creams! If Monday's child is fair of face then Tuesday's child is full of grace... I'm tempted to cheat and post tomorrow's pictures today, they are that special, but wait I must! See you tomorrow when we meet Tuesday's graceful girl, and smile, Monday is almost over :)

Dream a Little Dream of Me
"I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas, they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind."
