SHE HIT PAUSE STUDIOS

On my last trip to New York I managed to finally visit the Brooklyn flea market. It was a huge surprise to spot a favourite Etsy artist of mine exhibiting at it. She Hit Pause Studio's photographs are large format polaroid transfers. Polaroids are taken, the film is pulled apart and then the negatives are rubbed onto water color paper. All of the girls in his work are friends and shot as he learns to surf while travelling in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru and the Dominican Republic... Not a bad way to spend your days!
